On behalf of the West African Union of Tax Institutes (WAUTI), we are pleased to invite you and others from your organization to participate at the 8th Annual International Tax Conference of the Union.

The conference is scheduled for Thursday 24th and Friday 25th February 2022, at Hotel 2 Février, Place de l’indépendance, Lomé, Togo, with the theme ”Developments in the Domestic Revenue Mobilisation space in Africa in the 21st century”.

Papers to be delivered in the course of the conference are:

i. The need to strengthen Legislation to connect public expenditure management to domestic revenue mobilization

The West African Union of Tax Institutes (WAUTI) is an international Non-Governmental Organization devoted to the promotion of the taxation profession within the West African sub-region.

The WAUTI International Tax Conference was instituted as a platform for idea generation, knowledge development, networking and to discuss issues of taxation and economic development among professionals in the region.

As always, the Conference provides a unique opportunity for leading tax experts from corporations, governments, academia, international and national experts and advisors, as well as the regional and international organisations to discuss contemporary issues which are of great and lasting impact on our people and economies.
