1. Finance & Accounts Officer
Key Responsibilities
Data Processing Function:- Organize and code data, ensuring correctness based on the Chart of Accounts before entry into Sage.
- Post and print receipts using appropriate account heads in Sage Accounting Software.
- Post financial transactions from approved payment vouchers, electronic transfers, and statutory deductions.
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliation reports.
- Reconcile self-financing program accounts and others.
- Reconcile members’ outstanding balances and prepayments.
- Reconcile revenue reports from online payment platforms with bank statements.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Assist in budgeting, financial planning, and analysis.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Institute.
Requirements
- B.Sc./HND in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
- Minimum of 2–4 years’ relevant professional experience.
- Proficiency in Sage Accounting Software and Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Professional certification (CITN, ICAN, ANAN, or ACCA) is an added advantage.
2. Tax Officer
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and file statutory tax returns (CIT, VAT, WHT, PAYE, etc.).
- Ensure full compliance with Nigerian tax laws and regulations.
- Liaise with relevant tax authorities when required.
- Maintain accurate tax documentation and reconciliation records.
- Support financial reporting and tax planning initiatives.
- Provide general support on tax compliance and advisory matters.
Requirements
- B.Sc./HND in Accounting, Taxation, Finance, or related discipline.
- Minimum of 2–4 years’ relevant experience in taxation or similar role.
- Sound knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and regulations.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Professional certification (CITN, ICAN, or ANAN) is an added advantage.
