We are excited to inform all members about further expansion of our CITN District Societies in the diaspora.

We are pleased to announce the establishment of a new district in the America and Canada to be known as Northern America District and Society that will serve as a regional hub for CITN members in the United States of America and Canada.

The introduction of this new district hinges on our continuous efforts to enhance accessibility and provide local support to our esteemed members in the diaspora in furtherance of the vision of the Institute to be one of the foremost professional associations in Africa and beyond.

With the growing demand for tax professionalism across borders, it is our desire to ensure that our members have a reliable local platform for networking, knowledge-sharing, and career advancement opportunities in their stations, amongst other benefits.

This local chapter is established to foster a sense of community and facilitate interaction with members in the USA and Canada. It will also create the necessary avenue to keep tabs on developments concerning contemporary tax and allied matters in Nigeria.

As part of its responsibilities, the chapter will organize various events, seminars, workshops, conferences, and networking sessions tailored to meet the unique professional needs of members within those jurisdiction.

We are confident that the district will serve as a valuable resource for our members and would further strengthen our mission to uphold excellence in the tax profession.

We therefore encourage tax professionals in the catchment regions to leverage on this opportunity and actively participate in the shaping of the grassroot body of the Institute.
